I used to have hedgehog visitors and they headed for the water before the food. An old shallow roasting tin seems a universal watering hole for all my garden visitors.
Hi. We had a feeding and watering station for them before we had to demolish it to make way for the new shed - see a previous post of mine on rescuing a hedgehog. We intend to build another one in the very near future.
Do you put a bowl of water out for them?
